When I completed the exterior mural at Fitness Compound, they asked me “Looks amazing, now can you do the interior?” Even though it was a tight timeline, I was thrilled to get another chance to contribute another mural to their awesome space.

For this mural, they want to focus on the equipment rather than human figures. I am particularly inspired by the combination of angles and curves in the equipment, and the feeling of movement inherent in their design. The challenge is to take into account the architecture and how people will view it from multiple angles. I used a similar color palette and graphic approach that they loved in the exterior mural. One of my favorite surprises is how the corner holding element, overlapping hexagons, turns into a heart when viewed at a certain angle. After all, having heart is the cornerstone to any successful endeavor!
